For replacements: old cylinder measurements, photos, or a sample. The more complete your initial specification, the faster Step 2 proceeds.

Factory delivers: Confirmation of receipt and preliminary feasibility check within 24 hours. If any specification is unclear or potentially problematic, the engineering team will ask clarifying questions at this stage — not later.

2Engineering Drawing — Days 2–4

Factory delivers: A detailed engineering drawing showing all dimensions, tolerances, materials, seal specifications, mounting geometry, port positions, and surface treatment. This drawing is the manufacturing contract — the cylinder will be built exactly as shown. Review every dimension carefully before approving.

Your action: Review the drawing, verify all dimensions against your dump trailer frame and hoist geometry, confirm or request changes. Drawing revisions typically take 1–2 additional days. Approval of the final drawing triggers Step 3.

3Quotation & Payment Terms — Days 4–5

Factory delivers: Formal quotation with unit price, quantity pricing tiers, payment terms (typically 30% deposit + 70% before shipment for new customers), Incoterm options (FOB/CIF/DDP), estimated production lead time, and shipping method. The price is based on the approved drawing — all specification changes after this point may affect the price.

4Sample Production (Optional) — Days 5–35

Factory delivers: 1–2 sample cylinders manufactured using the full production process (same machines, same materials, same QC). Sample production takes the same 25–35 days as production orders because the manufacturing process is identical — there is no shortcut. Samples are shipped via air freight or courier for speed.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom cylinders?

There is no fixed minimum — Korea Ever-Power accepts orders from 1 unit (replacement/sample) to thousands (OEM production). However, the per-unit price decreases with quantity because setup costs are amortised. A single-unit custom order carries the full setup cost; a 50-unit order spreads it across 50 units. For the best pricing, consolidate your requirements into the largest practical batch size or establish an annual blanket agreement.

Can I change the specification after production starts?

It depends on the manufacturing stage. If raw materials have not been cut: specification changes are possible with minimal delay. If machining has started: changes to bore, stroke, or mounting dimensions require new material and restart the production clock. If assembly is in progress: only non-dimensional changes (seal material, paint colour) may be feasible. The safest approach is to finalise the specification completely at the drawing approval stage (Step 2) — changes after that point risk delay and additional cost.

Do you keep my drawing on file for future orders?

Yes. Every approved drawing is filed by drawing number and customer name. Repeat orders reference the drawing number — the factory retrieves the validated drawing, confirms the specification has not changed, and proceeds directly to production (skipping Steps 1–4). This is why repeat orders are faster and more efficient — the entire engineering and sample stage is eliminated. Your drawing remains on file indefinitely as long as the commercial relationship is active.

Can I provide my own drawing instead of using the factory's format?

Absolutely. If you have a CAD drawing (DWG, DXF, PDF, or STEP format), send it with your inquiry.
