Telescopic — Factory Direct
A mini dump truck weighs what a highway hauler carries. The chassis is 300–500 mm wide, the dump body holds half a tonne to two tonnes, and the entire vehicle fits on roads and job sites where a full-size truck cannot go. The telescopic hydraulic cylinder for this class must be proportionally miniature — lightweight enough for one-person handling, narrow enough to fit between micro-scale chassis rails, and short enough when retracted to disappear within the vehicle's underframe.

Korea Ever-Power manufactures telescopic hydraulic cylinders for the full range of mini dump trucks — from sub-1 tonne electric utility carts to 3.5 tonne compact tippers. The cylinder is custom-engineered to match your specific mini truck frame dimensions, hydraulic system pressure, and tipping angle requirement. Direct sales from the factory: your specification goes to the engineering team, your cylinder ships from the production floor, and your pricing reflects manufacturing cost without distributor mark-up.

Engineering a Telescopic Cylinder for Mini Dump Trucks — Three Constraints
Mini dump trucks impose constraints that larger vehicles do not. The cylinder must be engineered within these limits — and the constraints are dimensional, not force-related. Even a 2-inch bore telescopic cylinder at standard working pressures produces far more force than needed to tip a 1–2 tonne mini dump body. The engineering challenge is fitting the cylinder into the space available.
Narrow Frame Width (300–500 mm)
Mini truck chassis rails are narrower than the width of a standard dinner plate. The telescopic cylinder's outer barrel diameter must fit within these rails with clearance for hydraulic hoses, wiring, and suspension components. At the smaller bore range (2–2.5 inch), the outer barrel diameter is typically 70–90 mm — compact enough for most mini truck frames.
Shallow Frame Depth (250–400 mm)
The vertical depth from the frame rail top flange to the underside is only 250–400 mm on mini trucks — the retracted cylinder must fit within this envelope. A 2-stage telescopic cylinder at 18–24 inch stroke retracts to approximately 10–16 inches (250–400 mm), which matches this mini truck frame depth precisely. This is why 2-stage is the most common telescopic configuration for mini trucks.
Low Weight Requirement
Mini dump trucks have limited payload capacity — every kilogram of hoist equipment subtracts from the payload. A 2-stage telescopic cylinder at 2-inch bore weighs approximately 3–6 kg depending on stroke length. This lightweight is essential for mini trucks where the total vehicle GVW may be 1,500–3,500 kg and the cylinder weight as a percentage of GVW is proportionally higher than on a 20-tonne truck.
Mini Dump Truck Categories

Electric Utility Dump Carts
Battery-electric utility vehicles for golf courses, resorts, campus maintenance, and warehouse grounds. Sub-1 tonne payload, 12V or 24V DC hydraulic power unit. The telescopic cylinder must operate on the lower pressures typical of small electric pumps. 2-stage at 2-inch bore, 12–18 inch stroke — the smallest telescopic cylinder in the product line.
Kei-Class & Micro Tippers
Kei trucks (Japanese 660cc class), Chinese mini trucks, Indian three-wheeler tippers, and European L-category commercial vehicles. GVW under 2 tonnes, frame width 350–450 mm. The telescopic cylinder must fit within the micro-scale chassis rails while delivering a useful tipping angle. Metric or BSP ports to match the PTO hydraulic system.
Compact Site Dumpers
Walk-behind and ride-on site dumpers used on construction sites for short-distance material transport. These vehicles tip forward (over the front of the machine) rather than rearward. The telescopic cylinder mounts at the front and pushes the skip body forward and over. 2-stage at 2–3 inch bore, typically single-acting with gravity return.

Field Reports
We manufacture dump bodies for Kei-class mini trucks — 660cc engine, 350 kg payload, frame width 380 mm. The Ever-Power 2-stage at 2-inch bore, 16-inch stroke fits perfectly. Outer barrel diameter is only 72 mm — well within our frame rail clearance. 40 units delivered over 8 months, every one within 1 mm of the drawing. Each cylinder weighs 3.2 kg — our assemblers install them by hand. Metric ports, single-acting. Zero warranty returns.
We build battery-electric utility dump carts for golf courses and resort properties. Our vehicles use a 24V DC hydraulic power unit at 120 bar operating pressure. The Ever-Power 2-stage telescopic cylinder at 2-inch bore works perfectly at this pressure — smooth tipping of our 500 kg dump body. BSP ports matched our EU fittings. Direct sales from the factory saved approximately 25% compared to our previous distributor source. 20 units across 2 orders, all dimensionally correct.
Replaced the tipping cylinder on a ride-on site dumper in our rental fleet — forward-tipping type, 2-stage, 2.5-inch bore, SAE ports. The original cylinder had a bent rod from an operator impact. Four stars because I initially ordered with the port on the wrong side for a forward-tip mount — my mistake on the specification, but the factory could have flagged that the port position was unusual for a tipping cylinder. The replacement (correct spec) arrived in 26 days and works perfectly. Lesson learned: specify "forward tip, front mount" explicitly.
